Advanced network diagnostics — coming for registered users
Advanced is not currently available to visitors. We plan to offer extended diagnostic checks and downloadable reports to registered users when accounts are introduced.
Available for registered users. Advanced diagnostics and downloadable reports are not open to the public yet. Registration is not available at this time.
What the extended check includes
The planned Advanced tool will cover a larger fixed set of TCP ports than the nine-port homepage scan, along with DNS, mail, HTTPS, certificate and response-header indicators for relevant domain targets.
Once the feature is released for registered users, results will distinguish completed checks from unavailable sections. No advanced scan can be started by public visitors today.
What you can download
We plan to provide PDF, CSV and JSON reports for registered users. These exports are currently disabled on the public site.
Reports represent what the xMyIP server observed at one point in time. They should not be treated as compliance certification, vulnerability assessments, or proof that all services are closed.
Why checks are rate-limited
Running active network tests uses server resources and can generate network traffic toward a target. The Advanced endpoint is intentionally on demand and limited to a small number of runs per visitor over a period of time.
Only use these features for networks, websites and systems you own or have permission to examine. The checker does not attempt exploitation, password guessing or intrusive vulnerability probing.
What to do with findings
Start with unexpected externally reachable services, invalid HTTPS configurations and DNS or mail policies that do not match your intended setup. Review actual server logs and configuration before changing anything important.
When the registered-user feature becomes available, compare results after remediation and account for DNS propagation delays. Never treat an unavailable result as evidence that a system is secure.
